I thought up a really awesome addition for the Ballistic Loadout mut.

Instead of always having the same 5 weapons namely 1 sidearm, 1 meele, 1 explosive and 2 main weapons, how about if in the Ballistic Loadout menu you could choose which of the 4 weapons classes you'd want to have in the loadout while ingame, you could choose maybe 2 sidearms and a explosive and have that or just 5 main weapons.

The maximum # of weapons you'd be able to put is 5. This would create a ton of new choices for loadout which already has lots of stargies but with this it would be almost unlimited.

well you could make it so theirs only 1 or 2 main weapons and something else.

I like this idea. I don't really use the explosives much, I'd love to have an extra handgun or something.

A good idea, but could have balance issues as Carsomyr mentioned.

yeah, but thats what so awesome abuot it, if you want you could have just 1 main weapon and a sidearm or any combo, you could never use 5 main weapons, it would be al about preferance.

. . .Well, whatever. But what's wrong with how loadout works right now? My personal opinion would be to allow people to select sidearms for the primary weapon slots.

Kinda. But Loadout works a lot better, since each individual can customize their own weapons, and change loadouts between spawns.

we had a similar idea, which we hope to do.. u have empty spaces, an u put weapons in them.. big weapons take up more space, so u can have like several sidearms and explosives, but only 1 or 2 main weapons.. :)

It's a game, not an inventory thingy. But the game DOES have an inventory system, so maybe that's what you meant.

Maybe it has a similar inventory system to System Shock 2. It's basicly a HUD at the top with a few columns of 3 slots each, and at the end you place armor and implants that you want to equip. And of course a weapon slot.

umm just why is we dicussing implants? All i said for this idea was to give to the ability to change which weapon classes (like the sidearms or main weapons) will appear in the loadout menu when ingame.

Deus Ex is very similar to Ssytem Shock. When I get home I'll post a screenie of the inventory HUD.
