Ok, here we go...Lets say your running around with an HMG right? your in the heat of battle and suddenly you see someone in perfect sight, you drop to your knees, ready to fire when suddenly your HMG jams. I know it sounds lame and it might piss some people off...I just always thought it would be cool, like if your being crazy and just shreding through box mag after box mag, maybe the gun will get dirty and jam. Kinda like, an anti- Don't pray and spray, I will accept any kind of verbal onslaught for this feature. "Not only for HMG's by the way"

Couold be fun but you would have to bind yet another key to unjam the bloody thing. %-6

Quite good idea. Jamming was one of the features we wanted to add to our weapon system, but we never go to it. Also, there would NOT be another key to unjam! Reload or fire would do just fine...
It's a good feature for when we introduce the B1 and other rusty old guns like that...
For all those UT mania people, we could make the feature optional...

Reload or fire to unjam the weapon? That sounds like the perfect use for cock weapon if you ask me.

Jamming is definitely a good idea, but it'd be best as an option. And all you can do is to throw it away and pick up a new one from the weaponpoints. :)

It should be the reload key.

Or the cock weapon key. . .

Could work for either pretty well, but I think cock weapon would be better.

nah, just use reload as to make sure everyone can unjam their gun (cause some like myself don't use the cock key).

it should be the cock weapon key for sure..that is after all part of how most jams are fixed, but yes it should be optional, and a slight correction to Mikial, the term is "spray and pray" not pray and spray. If you really have to put this in it should be optional, and for a gag you could put in a cleaning kit

No, we need to conserve keys and use ones we have already. When a gun's jammed, reload key will unjam instead of reloading...
