How about a heart rate monitor for stamina instead of a bar. Where you have to wait for your bar to go back to normal so you can more effectivly use your weapon and stuff.

That sounds very cool, but could be tough to code. :/

It might be tough, I'm not sure, but it would be cool.

id say a heartrate moniter would be for health than stamina

if it serves the same purpose as the stamina bar, and it can be pretty much called the stamina bar but in hart rate form, why make it? Stupid idea.

Just like reloading is pointless, why not just drop it and use the UT system? That's much simpler and easier.

Oh and let's not forget bloody hell, why do we need blood? It serves no point.

Some people might like the look of it better. Thats why people can use different crosshairs, and can download mutators for different huds.

Pointless, maybe, but its not really about practicality, its about preference.

yes.. preference.. the thinking behind simple-weapons :)

cool idea i think :)

The thing is, not even UT2004 has a point to exist. The only things in BW that have a point is the weapons and their code, everything else we could live without.

heartrate isnt that much of a factor when shooting its more your breath that messes up your shots

But in this case we are talking about stamina. Of course heartbeat resembles how much oxygen you need; ie, how much you have used your body's resources, running being one of the resource hogs.
