I love being able to adjust the scope zoom level without putting the scope down, and I love that I can share that function on my mouse wheel with weapon cycling. But I'm more comfortable with my weapon cycling inverted, and now the scope zoom feels backwards. Maybe there could be a check box in the preferences section? |

Maybe make a Zoom In/Out bind cvar in the BW INI file? And those keys won't be noticed by the game until you go to zoom mode, so you can use the scroll for both weapon cycling and zooming, and just invert them in the menu. Hard to explain my idea... |

Wait so what your saying is an opption that makes it so that when you press the scope button it starts and max zoom and when you press and hold the button the scope decreases it's zoom? |

I use my mouse wheel to switch weapons. The default is a forward turn changes down, and backwards changes up. I'm more comfortable with that inverted. The scope soom also uses the 'change weapon' functions. If I have my weapon switching set up the way I like it, the scope zooming feels backwards. If I change it to suit the scope zoom, then my weapon switching feels backwards. I'm asking for an option to invert the way the scope zoom works with the 'change weapon' function. |

I think he means reversing the scroll bind. So he can scroll between weapons one way, and when zooming, the scroll wheel will reverse, so you need to scroll the other way. It could be useful, but why not just get used to the default? It takes little effort. |

Different people adjust to different things in different ways. If they don't want to do it, I'll just have to deal with it, but it'd be nice to have the option. |

I used the arrow keys for 9 years, then one day I decided to get used to WASD, and it only took me around half an hour. But it is true, no one has the same ability to learn getting used to new things. But I think you should try harder, I bet you'd succeed at the end.
