i had an idea for a new gametype where you have two teams, attacker and defender. the defender has a special object that he must hide and protect in a huge building. the defenders have some time to set up defensive position and to hide the object. the attackers will have to wait for some time before they can attack. the objectives are to infiltrate the building, find the object and to destroy or steal it, depending on the map. so... ...like it? |

MMM you told me this idea at school, But in this post you aren't metioning anything about air vents and stealth instead of jumping in and shoot some missiles trough the hallways. |

Hmm... I kinda don't like the idea of making the opposing team wait until the other sets up camp... How about the item (or item-bearer) spawns at a random location that only its/his/her protectors know? |

ummm... what i am thinking is that there is a time-limit for the defenders to set up a camp. and bulska, stealth is just impossible in ut2004. oh... and i wasn't mentioning a item-bearer but that is a good idea. PS: Bulska plz get an AVATAR!!! |

Yeah im trying to make one with Photoshop with Motig+Flakcannon+bunchofdeadbrocksandmalcoms. Wait that's for the signature. The avatar is just gonna be Motig with maybe sum extra's. Now back to topic you people

You know instead of a timer you could have a door (with way much health) the attackers must destroy but at the same time conserve ammo, so the defenders have a limited but not set time to set up. It would not have to be a door it could be a wall next to the door, or some fallen rocks, or a barricade of junk. |

Maybe destroying the said doors/walls/barricades/etc. with C4 explosives... 'cuz, y'know... it would just look silly if a team destroys them with their bare fists (or melee weapons). Also, there would only be one or two C4 explosives but several destroyable passageways... That way, the intruders can also plan which passage/s to enter and also give the defenders quite a guessing game themselves. They could also manually take-down the other blockades with said bare fists/melee weapons, but that would take longer than just planting a C4... |

I thank if you gave the doors enough health the attackers will give up on melee after 5 minutes. Or make the doors immune to all but c4 and G5’s. The chouse of points of entry is good that way when the door goes down the defenders aren’t waiting with miniguns. |

Ok I thank this will work without new maps: Defenders: each start with an object (a bag of money, or whatever) they get three minutes to hid all the “bags†|
