should be a self explainatory reguest, if you select a new weapon set and walk over a locker or node you change to it

would be handy to grab a RL to take down a tank, or to grab an energy weapon to repair something

i like, being able to get a new weapons set at the lockers even if your not dead. Though their should be a set time before you can switch again, like the current locker (ONS) set for ammo.

Hmm, that could work. And i'm guessing when you say change, that means you'll loose all your previous weapons and gain all the ones you have selected in Loadout., am i right?

Hang on The Cheat, we're blastin' off to da mooooooooonnn!!!! (and not the SB you guys instantly think of)

This would get me a lot farther in both Assault and Onslaught for weapons... Sometimes you need to change weapons for certain parts of levels, but don't want to lose a Wicked Sick spree.

I like the idea of changing Loadout options while fighting. Best to make it able to all GameObjective actors to switch weapons there. So the BaseCore and PowerNodes, CTF bases, Bomb bases and weapon lockers.

^Ignoring the obvious thread bump...

I need to change weapons on the Convoy level since the first half on defense requires me with a Railgun and the M925 Machinegun, and the second half I need the M353 and the M925, and not the M75 TIC anymore. It annoys me how I have to kill myself to change my loadout...

Unfortunately, bots only carry either the Railgun, or the M925... Only once did one have something different, and that was the M763... ouch.

well then, thats just the bots hating you. You could however, just survive with the current weapons you had. Also in 2.0, i'm pretty sure you could say have 4 main weapons in loadout + another weapon (you can change it to your preferences like 4 sidearms and 1 main weapon etc) , instead of the current loadout set (ex: 2 main weapons, 1 explosive, 1 meele, and 1 sidearm). Though this is what i hope for in 2.0, SB tells me its mostly like this, so here's hoping.

Yeah, but until then, I'm screwed on Convoy... here's to 2.0! Also, an XK2 doesn't make a good weapon for defense... better at offense at close range.

Yeah, as mentioned above, this should require losing whatever gear you were carrying at the time, so you can't just stock up on EVERYTHING. Other than that, this would be great. In addition to allowing you to update your equipment on the fly, this would also allow you to restock ammunition for the weapons you're already carrying.

FYI OC if you set a bots fav weapon to be something (ie the m50) they will always (or at least 99.9% of the time) will pick it in loadout, nice if you don't like bots useing the RG every where

I know, I've changed all the bots to use the equivalent of the UT weapons, so they weren't just easy to kill because of their fav weapon was crap on purpose. Most bots like the G5 since they all liked the RL from the orig set, and I changed them to the equivalents.
