Another graphical tweak, though (I think) it's nothing detrimental to the gaming experience... You guys know how the target cursor gets bigger when you begin to lose accuracy, right? Well, how about this: in addition to becoming bigger, it also becomes more transparent? That way, if you're sprinting, when the target cursor is at its largest, it doesn't hinder your view of what's going on around you. For flexibility, the option and be toggled on/off. How 'bout it? EDIT: Oops... it seems that I may have put this topic in the wrong thread... Can the mods kindly move this to the Feature Request thread? |

This seems pretty useless to me, but it'd probably be comfy to have around for those who want it. And since you aren't asking for tech. support, BW Support is the wrong forum. I'll move it to feature requests. |

They're just a few GFX tweaks... They're not meant to be all that useful. Just simple eye-candy... |

I thought you said this idea is supposed to make the crosshair block the view less... |

I think it better if it just went transparent when sprinting. |

Sprinting and running both supersize the crosshair, I'd say both cases would be more logical to go transparent. |

by running you mean just moving? Or is there ANOTHER key that enables running in UT2k4 or are you just putting running and sprinting together? Whatever the case, make it so that the crosshairs go transparent (totally gone pretty much) when sprinting/*running*. |

Running; holding down the move forward key without using the walk key. Sprinting; well, sprinting, pretty much explains itself. If the crosshairs dissapear, then how are you supposed to aim? I'd want to have a minimum aiming system all the time. |

Wait... I thought you didn't use crosshairs... Oh well... If this was to be implemented, maybe a scaler would work nicely for it, enabling whatever transparency you want. |

Maybe we should add a BF2 touch by making a script reaching a certain speed makes the crosshair transparent. Then, to add to the sprinting thingy, add panting noises like they have in Battlefield 2. And you could add a mask or something in Iron Sights so it looks like you're actually looking through the aiming things on the guns. Any examples needed? I'll go take BF2 screenies. |

The crosshair won't disappear completely, it would just be... let say... "see-through". It just serves to make the screen cleaner. |
