Like the one made for Halo, which allows the ability to sneak around corners without being seen. The crosshair shows right over your head and the shots shoot directly into it, not like that frustrating Arial View mod where the crosshair's Z axis is always changing all over the place, no. That Arial View is just... bleh. Good idea, poorly executed. inch:
... Just a thought. It'd make for some cool melee battles. |

I don´t think there is another 3rd person mutator apart from Aerial View. You´d just have to request it on a very alive UT200x forum like Atari´s UT2003/4 forums. Or you could ask RuneStorm nicely. ![]() Post edited by: Bjossi, at: 2006/01/28 14:25 |

Well personally I like both first and third person shooters.. like say, when playing Halo online with the 3rd person modification lets you sneak around corners without being seen and it lets you judge when the right time to pop out and blow the crap out of your enemy is. I never play without it, unless I'm in a tight spot like the Flood level where I'm surrounded and it wouldn't help anyway. |

I just used the knowledge I already have. Love means to like someone as a friend, having fun doing something together like playing computer games. I don´t really have to explain the other meaning, you made it quite clear that you know it James.

I've played that game, and I suck at it BAD. Lmao. There's some serious problems with lagginess, especially since my ass on dial up. But yeah. That and Max Payne are both very good examples of 3rd person shooters. |

Max Payne was pretty good actually. My opinion is from watching my brother play it, of course I didn´t play it myself.

Ehhh the graphics weren't top-notch, and there was a bit of an issue with the mouse response time, but it was freaking ownage nonetheless. |

Games look good at their "golden year", Quake was the best looking game in existance in 1996, just like Max Payne looked fantastic in 2001. But now...source ports for Quake and possible future source ports for games like Max Payne or Red Faction. I think computer graphics advance faster than anything else. If for example astrology would, then we(humans) would be mining in the Betelgause star system 600 lightyears away.

I actually hate to say it but I'd rather work at Nasa than Epic. But that's only because I suck ass at scripting. |

Same here, it would be kind of fun to be inside an actual starship travelling insanely fast. I´ve read news that Nasa are speculating theories of how to travel in another dimension where the speed of light is much faster than 200k miles per second. |

Imagine the possibilities.. we'd be able to reach new planets and everything.. Which brings me to this. http://www.shatters.net/celestia/ This program here is freaking amazing.. it shows the universe in real time and every start known to man. You can click on any random star and it'll take you there, and give you specs on it. There's all sorts of stuff here that just blew me away the first time I saw it.. |
