I'm an avid Loadout player (that's all I play in UT04, actually :P )and it seems to me like an extra feature in here could be of benefit.

Some keys that let you quickly chose a weapon from each of your weapon selection slots.

I know what many say, "that's another 5 keys to add to my already overcrowded keyboard!"

I understand that, but me, I wouldn't use the number keys if this was available and I'm sure any others out there who use straight Loadout might agree.

I don't know how it could be implemented, but something that quickly lets you pull out your starting weapons would really make me happy. I generally only use my starting weapon anyways, regardless of what others I pick up.

Maybe just one button that brings up a menu and then you click the number key corresponding to the group or use a scroll wheel and make it similar to the already existing weapon select menu could work.

Another thing I wouldn't mind is making you have to hit the use key in order to pick up a weapon. It's been suggested many times, but I think it would be best implemented into loadout until a weight system is devised.

This way your inventory doesn't get cluttered with all those other weapons.

And while I'm at it, I feel I should bring up Baklajan's idea to limit super weapons in loadout by making them take up an extra slot or something. Because really, it does make sense; a super weapon should not be as readily available as any other weapon.

Yeah, I thought so too. You can thank Baklajan for that idea. ;)

Also, I just remembered to say something I wanted to suggest for some time. The option of letting armor be an available choice for loadout. Unless a different armor system is worked out that balances light armor with heavier armor (like agility being reduced for heavy armor or something) you'd just treat the heavy armor as a super weapon and make it take up two slots or however super weapons would best be balanced.

Thats a cool system for the armor. I'd love that to be in there, though until then that armor suggestion seems worthwhile to do.
