Use the search function on the fourms, or just go back one or two pages and you'll find a few of them. |

I did a search for "dual meelee" I picked up only one thread that mentions it but it is not discussed. We can discuss it here. The thought of dual Katana's sounds like an opportunity to look badass, but it raises balance concerns. The knife is already pretty darn nasty, try using it with the super berserk mutator and watch it rip vehicles to shreds whikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikkawhikka BOOM! Same goes for the Katana. |

I somehow don't see dual melee being very effective, I'd love to see someone have two katanas simultaneously and effectively swinging them both. |

Katana's are too big for dual-wield. Smaller sized ones such as a Tanto or Wakizashi could be used to dual-wield. Tanto is a dagger. Wakizashi is a small sword. |

k..so no dual katana's but i think the knives would be managable...after all if bond can do it in the goldeneye game im sure anyone with half a brain could |

Yes, because Bond is clearly not a fictional character. |

Katana and knife seems more realistic, espada y daga style. |

None of it seems realistic. |

Some of it must be if we have dual wrist blades. Pay attention to the fact the skrith wrist blades are designed for dual weilding and that is all that makes it possible. As Bulska pointed out; the Katana is too large. It is designed to be handled with both hands. A Wakazashi is more likely. I dont think the knife is made to be dual weilded either but I cant be sure. A good example of dual meelee is the fifty-9. You can grab one, you can grab another. But the weapons design allows you to handle the blades in the same way. |

What is a Wakazashi? Sounds painful. |

Think of a lighter, more flexible Katana that is also a few inches shorter. Still deadly. |

Okay, sounds like something a ninja would use. |

They probably do. However it is intended as a sidearm for Samurai warriors "Wakizashi" literally means "side arm" |

I don't think we really need more bladed melee weapons. What I would like to see is a tazer or stunstick like the one found in JunkWar. |

On that note, i want a crowbar. |

I want a Tanto(Based purely on the judgement that it exists because it is in Morrowind). Just thought about it when I saw the word Wakizashi. |

Isnt a crowbar already in JunkWars? But in the case of BW I dont think it is "tactical" enough. To Kaboodles: this is just asking for dual weildability for current weapons rather than more. However I am sure that if the BW devs wanted the meelee weapons to be dual wieldable they would have done so already. There is probably a good reason why they are not now. That is why I mentioned balance concerns in my earlier posts |

That is why I mentioned balance concerns in my earlier posts Well, yes, that was the original topic, but everyone was talking about japanese mini-swords so meh. Anyways, if dual-melee was implemented, you'd have to let knives be dual-wield-able from the start, since you get 12 of them anyway. And the Skrith claws would get the shaft since their design doesn't seem to allow its wielder to hold another blade in his/her hand. |
