It would be good to be able to select the weapons that spawn in normal Deathmatch play (not arena). I think most of the weapons are great. Others I can do without. Doing away with the ones I don't use will free up the spawn points and make the other weapons more available. |

If there is a way to select specific weapons in Loadout, I'm not seeing it. Doesn't look any different than the basic Ballistic mutator config to me. What I'm talking about is removing specific weapons from play, not groups. |

If I understand you correctly, you want a mutator that works like WoRM2004, you can choose what Ballistic weapon replaces a specific original weapon in the config. I´d like that too btw. Or are you talking about something totally different? |

What I'm talking about is to NOT use some of the Ballistic weapons. I have no love for the blade weapons (for example) and they spawn INSTEAD of a weapon I prefer sometimes. I would like to select a list of the ones that will get used in normal Deathmatch. |

Well, Worm2004 mutator can replace the starting weapons. You could try to download it and replace shieldgun with the melee weapon from Ballistic that you prefer. Same for the rest of the weapons. But Worm is probably not compatible with Ballistic so expect bugs. |

Well, we were wanting to have a thing where you specify what wepaons replace what ones in the maps as well as add a weapon limiter or something, but we ran out of time... Also, the standard way of adding items in(i.e. the one where pickups spawn on the ground) is wearing thinner each time we add a new weapon. There are only a small, limited number of weapon spawns in each map and spawning a greater number of weapons is getting tricky. The mutator that does that now is getting quite cumbersome, so we tend to prefer things like loadout... |

That is true, and there will be more and more weapons I assume. The maps aren´t big enough, and all the weapons will just make a crazy spam-fight...:S Worm 2004 works well, but a mutator I usually use, called Random Weapon Swap, is rather buggy with BWs. The firemodes get screwed up, fx. both primary and secondary fire of the Skrith Rifle are the melee attack. |
