I actually had a dream about this last night, bizzarely enough.

It involved the RS8 pistol. I had this crazy silencer that was shaped sort of like a minigun barrel which made the gun fire full-auto, but not as fast as the burst fire firing rate. Also I was using some sort of tranquilizer dart (Yeah I know that'd be stupid).

Just throwing this out there. Ideas, you know. >D

All a silencer does is suppress the sound and reduce the recoil of the weapon. It can't really increase the firing rate.

A tranquilizer dart would be fairly pointless in this game, but it might be interesting to give a weapon, say the R78A1, special rounds that contain a tranquilizing agent. If you don't manage to kill the guy with the first shot, you'll still decrease his movement speed and blur his vision to make him easier to kill.

That's what I was thinkign; a tranq round that does just that. Decreases speed and causes stun, essentially.

Haha, you not alone on these kind of ideas Kamunou.

My VoltWall idea came by dream too, it involved the shock rifle, the WoE_CFX and a Protoss High Templar!

Anyway I like the dart idea. It worked for Team Fortress. It can give a pistol a strong niche in covert gameplay.

Unfortunately I do not see a minigun attachment to a pistol making sence.

Neither do I.. it was really crazy. You could see the needles sticking out of the "silencer" part.
