| Post subject: | Ballistic Menu key |
Basically, I'd like a function that pulls up a menu in-game that allows you to do several things, like choose a weapon from the list of Ballistic weapons available in the current game (to accommodate modded weapons) and view its information (description, firemodes, special properties, maybe even weapon stats), or set your Ballistic keybinds and whatnot. This could probably be integrated into the Loadout key so that we don't end up with too many random keybinds, or maybe we could put a menu like this in the ESC menu, like ChaosUT did with their Melee weapons selector. This would make things much easier for people who downloaded the mod off a game server so that they don't have to leave the game and go download and install the mod first to get the full Ballistic Weapons experience online. This would even help people who do have the mod, as it can be slow to sift through all of the various weapons they may have from other mods in the Weapons tab for their settings. I've often timed out from the server with all of the weapon files it's had to open. |
