Create "Invasion" and mix "King of the Hill" GameType. In this gametype, the Human is in a Bunker and they defand bunker against monsters horde with fixed gun, heavy machine gun fixes and DCA against the insects flying. All the monsters will have to be very huge. Hm, I like the basic idea, but it would be even cooler imo if instead of monsters you were attacked by regular bots (or human players of course...). But wait, there's more...
In the base, which could be a castle, bunker or other large building, there are several respawn devices. If the attackers manage to destroy them all the match turns into last man standing for the defending team. When the last one dies it's game over for them, and the attackers have won. BUT, the attackers also have respawn devices, namely special vehicles! These too can be destroyed, and the attacking team subsequently wiped out. Simply put, the objective of this gametype is to totally annihilate the enemy team, kill them all and make sure they stay dead. As an added twist you can also capture and use enemy respawn machines, so even if you lose yours there's still some hope, you could still ultimately win the match. You could also have 2 fixed bases, like in ONS or CTF, but perhaps the 1st version (vehicles vs base) would be more dynamic and interesting, like a real medieval siege only wih high tech equipment. |

I like Redshifts idea alot more, it seems alot more fair and simply funner! Don't get me wrong KOTH is great but its never implentmented to be 'awesome', i think that Redshifts idea would truely fit Ballistic Weapons! |

I would love a gametype where a team of players spawn inside a fort, find some weapons, and they need to defend it from the enemy team or invasion monsters. I would simply love that. It would however not work very well offline.

![]() Oh, I dunno... If bots can 'understand' ONS, AS, CTF, and custom gametypes like Jailbreak, they might be able to understand this too. At least, enough to put up a decent fight. But then again I'm no programmer... Maybe this would work better in UT2007. |

i'm sure we could make it work offline if we try! gametypes are somewhere at the bottom of pour list at the moment, but its good to keep this idea around

One thing that TC is good for, is that if BW ends up using lots of gametypes, it is easier to navigate if the mod has a special category. |
