Nothing like three idiots walking into your mines/bombs and covering your screen and surroundings in multicolored guts :3
But would it be possible/easy to make the decal effects also stick onto the 1st person models? Like say, not as long as the blood hangs around on walls/floors/objects, but not as short as the blood on the screen.
Sticking to 3rd person models would also be cool, but I'm guessing you'd get some pretty funky looking people and probably end up shooting your own teammates X3
And something I just thought of now, how about a kind of visor-wiper? Like those used in Republic Commando or Metroid Prime? Just for added coolness instead of the blood slowly fading away
