Hey guys, I'm back, just checking the forums and was curious if you guys are gonna make options that allow you to stop weapons from shifting when you are damaged, and also if you can add the option of disabling the iron sights so ppl can jump around in zoomed mode for sniper weps, this would work well for ppl that like mixing ballistic weps with other custom weps and stock weps... like me it's an issue i've had for a while, since it's like the bots hit me with the flak cannon and i totally lose my aim with ballistic weps, even tho i have inaccuracy and recoil off... oh, and i was also wondering about sprint options? that would be cool if you could set it to infinity, or turn off sprint depletion when you jump or dodge...

That is important but shouldnt people worry about weapon damaging too? (configure weapon damage individually) |

This fits better in Feature Requests forum. Now carry on, pretend this post doesn't exist. |

I remember you said Bjossi, that making the option of configuring weapon damage individually will cause some major online problems right? |

Yes, but Kaboodles or Wup could shed more light on it than me. But such sliders would be a great idea for Instant Action. |

The problem with that was that since everyone has their own ideas on balance, every server will end up having drastically different gun configs. I actually don't believe that now. I think most people would be too lazy to ever bother with it, seeing as some servers just leave the Lightning Gun in the Link Gun spawn and the Minigun with the smaller machine guns. |

That is kind of hard considering the number of BW servers. |

They are configurable thru the INI files to a certain extent, The only thing I ever did was fool with the scopes on the Rail gun and use some V2 weapons rather than the V21. I usually don't put Super weapons everywhere But It depends on the map's spawns what you will get. With the Crazy ass vehicles I run I base my "Balance" on what the players want to see...But Bw has lost its steam on the online side. Especially the VCTF community...Thats ok...I still have my server up and Do run me Jailbreak/DM every now and then. |

Here's a tip for ya: Open up any folder, click Tools and in that menu Folder Options. In the dialog that appears, click the View tab and find the option 'Hide extensions for known filetypes', uncheck it. Never look back.

My computer doesnt seem to have that tool button. There is only a organize button, a views button, and a burn button (this is on a vista OS) |

You should see extensions now. For example word documents now have a .doc after the filename, and ini files will have .ini Now there is no doubt which file is what.

Can it adjust damage scale of weapons individually. i know it can adjust damage scale of all weapons at once. I'm assuming that scope bouncing is when you fire a sniper rifle your scope view becomes unstable. |

Yes, after all the ini file simply stores the mod's options and their values. Almost exactly the same as cfg files. But do keep in mind that some mods/games have options and values that aren't in the GUI; can only be found in a config file like cfg or ini. |
