...like in Halo.(call of duty too?)
because sometimes you don't have time to change your weapon to a grenade, change firemode to "long throw",throw it and change to your weapon again.
so, pressing a button, will throw the grenade, in long throw mode. you can still use the traditional method, if you don't need to be fast.

Yeah, pulling out the grenade as a weapon is a bugger, but it certainly prevents the grenade spamfest from rearing it's ugly head here.(even then that doesn't stop it)

Nothing is more spammy than a peacemaker with ragdoll madness(with BW explosions ragdolling people. :)
but in invasion it could help a LOT.
(sinister, before i submited the post the site was in the old appearance :P nice look now!)

Would much love this idea. As long as regular grenade usage is preseved like already mentioned. I think however, that it whould set to short throw, not long throw, because if you need a grenade quick, the target you want to bombard is probably gonna be relatively close, and if not, you can arc it more.

i prefer grenade spamming. It makes for one hell of a game if its an arena of grenades (also works with mines)

This is a very old thread, I hope you realize... however, there's not much discussion going on in this section anyways... I'll let this particular one slide.... barely.

Offhanded grenades were also done in the KF mod, I'll see what they did to access such code.
