I'd really like to see the BWC gametype Changed/Fixed... Things like: Requirements for weapons configurable. Wait a minute before being able to throw weapons (exploit) No more messing up spectator camera Not much, (Except the spec cam thing i think) But still, that really messes up gameplay. (We installed Sgt. Kelly's awesome pack, but then people had the GRSXX at 4 kills -.-) |

I'm pretty sure that you can actually change the requirements easy... |

Yeah... It takes time to configure but in the end it is worthwhile. Still conflict is very buggy, just learn what it doesn't like and don't piss it off.

Heh, we've had it since the start, so we can deal with it I guess... Can someone explain how to set the requirements then? |

Personally, I've removed my GRSXX and BFG from all loadout and conflict based games. : D The bots go absolutely nuts with 'em. I think the main BW Mutator menu lets you select which guns to exclude in each gametype. |

We know how to remove/add weapons to the loadout, but we don't know how to set the requirements (ex. Sniper Efficiency, Frags, etc...) SHAD0Wdump wrote: It takes time to configure but in the end it is worthwhile. That means it's possible, so my question is, how?Note: Changing the values in the Loadout settings in the BW Menu doesn't work. |

I adjusted everything in the Evolution Loadout menu and it worked. Just make sure you enable the Mutator "Ballistic Evolution Scaling" and tick the "Evolution Mode" button in game rules. |

Okay, I adjusted every weapon to have 3 of everything (Frags, eff, etc), enabled the mutator and played a round of conflict. No changes whatsoever. |

Lol its funny how no one gets your question.... Okay there are a couple of ways to configure it, if your configuring for a server, you'll have to get the BallisticV21.ini from the server search for Scale, and you should get things like: TimeScale=1 Time that players has to play to unlock FragScale=1 # of frags player needs to unlock DmRtScale=1 ammount of Damage players need to unlock SgRtScale=1 ...i forgot this one... lol SrEfScale=1 Sniper efficency HzEfScale=1 Hazard Efficiency the # is the scale, 1 is default, and 2 would double the requirement in that stat for all guns to unlock them. so if you needed 5 frags for a gun and you set Fragscale to 2 then you'd need 10 instead. after you set the scale reupload that ini to your server. though if you just want to edit Kelly's weapon requirements, then (if your lucky) you can go all the way to the bottom of that Ini and search for the gun you want for example: [BWBPRecolors2.GRSXXPistol] WeaponPrice=0.000000 PrimaryAmmoPrice=0.000000 SecondaryAmmoPrice=0.000000 SpecialInfo=(Id="EvoDefs",Info="999.0;65.0;2.0;125.0;2.0;2.0;0.0") CrosshairCfg=(pic1=Texture'BallisticUI2.Crosshairs.M50Out',pic2=Texture'BallisticUI2.Crosshairs.M806InA',USize1=128,VSize1=128,USize2=256,VSize2=256,Color1=(B=12,G=108,R=157,A=163),Color2=(B=255,G=255,R=255,A=255),StartSize1=79,StartSize2=124) bUseOldWeaponMesh=False ExchangeFireModes=0 Priority=250 CustomCrosshair=7 CustomCrossHairColor=(B=255,G=255,R=255,A=255) CustomCrossHairScale=1.000000 CustomCrossHairTextureName=Crosshairs.Hud.Crosshair_Cross1 The Blue line is what to look for the numbers behind Info are whats required to get the gun, youll have to experiment because i dont remember what each value stands for... |

Yep, those are the lines required to change the evolution values. They've been fixed in the latest version of my mod though. If you still have issues, delete your .ini and UT2004 will create a new one with the updated variables. |
