Hello, third post for the day...

I think the rail gun is very cool but it seems balancing the thermal scope has caused some problems.

When using the rail gun thermal scope: Please get rid of the bright blinding effect that happens when a player or vehicle is not behind a wall or some other cover.

If behind a wall or other cover: Maybe a targets thermal image should only be visible when they are pretty much centred in target and are in range, making it necessary to pan the scope a fair bit.

I don't know anything about map making but if certain walls were given a strength rating then certain ratings could block the thermal scope or severely reduce damage.

Maybe a new pickup item could be added such as a stealth shield which would make the player invisible to thermal scopes.

The thermal scope function itself could be a pick up/addon for the rail gun. This would give a team an advantage and incentive to capture / dominate areas of the map where these pickups spawn.

Thankyou so much for this brilliant mod and the superb effort put in to the effects & graphics. The weapon detail and reload animation is superb and I'm now giving UT a thrashing again.

I reckon the overall weapon set is well balanced..

Oh well, just one more: what about deployable ultra heavy machine guns (needs to be setup on a stand). Better still a quad MG on a half track. Hmmm, maybe we dont want UT to become another call of duty...
