Woot. Found the Ballistic mod on some random UT2oo4 mod site, played it and loved it  Since there was so much stuff in the mod, I had to read the manual to understand some things, and I found the link to this site. Well... Here I am! 
Also, a small question to anyone who happens to read me thread: How come Ballistic didn't enter the make something unreal contest? If it did, I'm sorry for being a noob, I didn't see it there. |

Welcome, glad you read the manual and came to visit us
I think you will find the forums here full of information and help. You are also just in time to get the JunkWar release which is going live a bit later... Long story, but basicaly it wasn't in time etc. BW was developed from a bigger idea (project Archon), and was released to "test the waters" and see if code/ideas etc. work. Well, it's been an enormus success and continues to grow, so will continue to be supported for a long time to come... Also, comms down here in sunny South Africa (yep we're from Africa!) is not readily available and expensive were it is available, which doesn't sound like a big problem, but it actualy causes MAJOR drawbacks for the developers...funding for equipment etc. is lacking, so BW grows slowly and RS will find ways to create an income from it and fund equipment and software until project Archon is complete, which they will try to find a publisher for (hopefully). Anyhow, have fun here

Thanks lots for the welcome! If you're having problems with funding, you should make a "Donate" button or something. I'm almost 100% sure that lots of people will help you out
Project Archon? Publisher? So what you're saying is that you will sell it? Or how? *is a noob* Anyways, thanks again. I'm gonna go scour the messageboard for no particular reason

Just join in the forum discussions...you will find someting to post about
Best way to help with the mod is to tell us what you like/don't like about it! The devs are very capable at what they do, it's just a matter of time to getting around to doing it.... The challange seems to be to catch up to Bjossi's post count (without posting spam)

I only read the first book, Call of Cthulhu. Hence I only understood the first and last lines. Where'd you get the rest??? |

That's not my point, your posts are quite a few times very short lines like 1 or 2 words. But as you said, as long as it is related to the topic or at least the discussion, there is nothing wrong with it. |
