You just had a great idea. RuneStorm can´t test the mod thoroughly because of their bad PCs, so why not let us test and hunt down bugs to give the public a bug free version?

I'm kidding... Seriously, yeah. Hey guys. I've been an avid fan of Ballistics since it was a baby [ie: It's early stages], and it fills me with great pride and bloodlust to see such a detailed, realistic weapons mod which I've wanted since the days of UT99. It's the closest any mutator has ever gotten to my ideal weapons mod. I hope to become, at the very least, a help in the Ballistics Community, and I'll be here for comments, suggestions, bug testing, you name it. Morter's the name, Shotgun's the weapon of choice. |

Thanks for the support. Yes, that is a good idea, a few select people get releases first for some pre-release testing. It won't eliminate all of the bugs, but it will go a long way to giving the "public" a stable version. Runestorm..your comments?? |

Yeah, we like the idea of pre release testing... The only problem is that we have to get it to you first, which means an extra upload. Over here, its not so easy to get our large files uploaded, so we try to keep large uploads to a minimum. |

You could just use a special email service that allows large uploads and send to us by email, and I could perhaps send the email forward to the rest of the volunteers. The problem is how long it takes to upload large files... |

I'll try to figure out a better way to do this whole uploading story, then we can experiment with the 1.7 release to beta testers first scenario. |

Yahoo! has 1 Gb space but allows only 10 Mb messages. There was one website that was specially made for people who want to send large emails, 100+ Mbs or even over a gig. :blink: |

the problem is how long it takes to upload.. down here calls are very expensive and slow, so when we upload, we go to the net cafe, and do it there.. it takes about an hour to upload v1.6.. |

man! we gonna try get the beta out to the fans.. but if we upload to our site here, then it cant stay around long, coz we dont want the whole world vapourizing our bandwidth!! but yeah, we'll try:) bugs are very seldom occuring nowdays.. we got rid of alot of em;) |

But for some strange reason there are always quite a few bugs left to crush... 
But that won´t be a problem if beta testers are put into the job before the initial release.
