This morning a combination of BW and boredom led me to create a monstrosity based on the SRS900 rifle. I have taken some liberties with colour and design, but the basic model is there. It even has a detachable magazine and silencer! Any suggestions for the next weapon? |

Hehe, your LEGOs actually have the same colors for each main part of the weapon... my do not, at all. XD |

Yeah- please remember that there are limitations on the models I can make - namely the amount of Lego I have, the type of Lego pieces I have and my patience. For instance, I tried making an MRT6 but I was sure it didn't have square barrels. I was planning on making the A73 but I have literally no blue bricks, so it may have to be grey weapons gone white for now. The plasma cannon would be a good idea but it would be so huge I might not have enough bricks for it. Here are the ones I feel are feasible: Redwood DeerMaster/Coach Gun R9 Ranger Rifle (would have to be white, not orange) M50 M295 Fifty-9 (white and black, not blue) XK2 ViPeR SAR-12 (white not green) And a sniper of some kind So, if there are any favourites, I would be happy to have something to do with my free time. |

If you can make a fully modular weapon using the same color bricks for the most part, you'd have beaten me. Here's what I do have (multi-color goodness though!): 2 pistols 2 MPs (one fully modular, allows same parts as below list besides clips) 1 modular base (allows for shell insertion): 3 RDS scopes 1 sniper scope (no true zoom though, obviously) AR front grip BR front grip SR front grip vertical foregrip bullpup rear stock buttcap (x2) rifle stock (non-bullpup config in other words) 3 long clips 1 medium clip 2 short clips 1 drum style clip 1 wide clip (requires a change of frontal clip receiver) grenade launcher (non-bullpup, no wide clip configs only) -- So to beat me... it basically has to have the following configs: machine pistol assault rifle sniper rifle battle rifle bullpup shotgun (AR config) ... and must be able to cock and reload (still haven't figured out actually firing things from any sort of magazine...). |

OCAdam, your mod sounds very cool and I would love to see it finished. At least you know whether or not you can finish your project! You do know, right? With regards to Lego I think it would be possible but the model would be very weak with all the different joins holding the pieces together. Having two different clip receivers, stocks and several grips held together with small Lego studs would be interesting but flimsy. Plus it would be impossible to cock - the handle on my SRS900 took half an hour on its on. But if I could use blu-tak or something to hold the different components together it might just work. It would also be the first time I beat someone at something Unreal-related - discounting my legendary hat trick on the UT3 Facing Worlds... *leans back in chair remembering that glorious day* ![]() But yeah, I have some free time tonight so I'll do some sketches to add to the pile of concepts I have in my 'out' tray. |

My previous post is not something to say that I HAVEN'T created with my legos, I actually HAVE got those. Of course, none of the weapons are based on anything really, just random things put together over the months, if not a year. And uh... I was meaning interchangeable parts, not all on the weapon at once! ![]() Think XM8... |

Wait, wait. Am I going mad? I thought the idea was to create lots of sections that can be joined together to create different weapons. Am I right or should I just shut the hell up and go back to my M50? |

The idea is that you have a base, from which you can attach a different front barrel assembly, a rear stock assembly, a GL usable by the front assemblies attachable to the bottom, a bullpup rear assembly, side mountable attachments, top attachments, ability for one of the front assemblies to switch to holding shells to make a false shotgun, and a way to cock the weapon alongside having the detachable magazines. I don't care if you use rubber bands and tape in strategic places, that's how I made some parts either stronger or actually make a cocking mechanism. I'm still working on the charge handle being able to eject just one shell each time and not needing to tilt the gun back... leading to multi-shell releases. >_> |

Ah, I get it. I'll break out the old graphics pencils and work out just how I'm going to do that, mainly because it would be cool to have all the bits on my desk where people can admire it. Making a cocking mechanism compatible with all the components should be interesting and I'm going to need a trip down to the Lego store to get some more bricks. Plus I need to go to the apple store next door. Herr General, I hope you will supply the bricks for it! |

Well I had my first really major breakdown of the weapon... and not on purpose. One single loose section of the weapon that got past my eye when I was just messing with the rest of the weapon caused it to break a whole section off the main part of the weapon. Considering my house has no carpet... the section (with a still attached frontal section too!) broke all over the tile floor. Took a good 20 minutes to fix up exactly as I had it before. Funny thing is, the supposedly weakest part of the structure (the joint between the broke-off main section and the frontal section) remained together the best! Might not hurt that the frontal section itself didn't exactly blow up into each single piece and the entire back section only snapped in two parts that I was able to catch before it hit the floor... teach me to not reload as fast as possible, huh? |

New creation: a (white) SAR-12. ATM it only has an extendable stock and removable magazine, but I'm looking to create a cocking lever and actual laser sight in the future. |

Double post - eek - but then none of you guys have posted here for a while. As I don't have a PC atm, can someone send me a picture of the R9 and/or the Enhanced Voltage plasma cannon from Kelly's BP? Hint: preferably the R9. |

Uh, I think my email is visible from my profile, but if not could you post it here like with my other pictures. Also, do you happen to know what the real-life dimensions of your 'extremely complex green cannon' would be as I have a small huge idea... |

It's the same size as the HVC lightning gun, I think there's a picture of it a couple posts above. |
