Post subject:  Allow Ballistics access to all weapons.

I run a quarterly LAN Party and I run a lot of MODS. I like your weapon Mgmt system the best but I can't see original UT guns or those of other mods (Chaos UT EVO, U4E) Is there any way to add allow your mod to see all guns, so I can add and subtract them as i see fit?

U can via load out menu, just check that little button you see on the bottom left.....

U cant do it on swap though...

Beware however, not all are compatible with BW, at least wut I know of, I cant really use Gunreal weapons with BW for example.

Thanks for the speedy response I never noticed that button before. It is quite useful. Is there any way I can get it in the swap menu it's the randomness that we enjoy! The loadout is only half of the awesomeness. Thanks again for your speedy response. (I know what you mean about Gunreal)

If your comfortaboe with editing config fikesnyou shouldn't have much problems adding regular weapons I think.

Check out the Ballisticv25.ini file, swap info shouod be near the top.

Will the ini allow me to add a button like the one in loadout page? I caught what you said about it can't be done by conventional means. I was just curious if there wer a more unconventional method. I am comfortable in scripting and ini edits. I just wanted to know if I could find the point in the code that allowed for that box on the loadout page, and copy it into the swap page. I don't mean to try your patience but I am creating an Ultimate LAN Party Edition and your Mod is my chosen UI. I want to get my members comfortable with it on all mods in all scenarios and i feel like I'm close enough to touch it. I can taste victory and I don't want one little hiccup to cause me to go to a lesser UI.

Ah yes, you can do it via script method. :lol:

If u go to the BWCache file is ur system folder, u will see this...

See that highlighted part? If its 'false' make it 'true'.

It should work, but Im not certain that it will work.

Anyway If the above two phail to work, then I don't know wut will.... :think:
You can try coding it in as a separate mututor but unless u no how to code stuff, I don't recommend it.
That and u need permission from the RS team in order to use their code as well.
I think thats how it is. Well its good to ask anyway.

Yeah I Know, I used to try typing via an ipad my friend lend to me, never liked it, I prefer the good ol keyboard. :dance:

I tried this and it worked flawlessly. The only difference is the mods arent "wrangeled" into groups and that isn't nearly as much of an issue. Thanks for all your help!!
