This is gonna replace my current favorite AR...

I love the nice touch-ups like the stability, distance, and elevation readouts... Make you feel like wielding a real high-tech weapon.

Doesn't this fit better in the BW General? It seems pretty on-topic to me.

But I love these weapons after testing them a bit, once again RS bring quality on the table.

Redshift gets a lot of respect from me, he has given RS a lot of money to bring new weapons to BW. That is nothing but a good thing.

Hell, he should be credited for helping RS get their feet out of the quicksand and into the industry.

yep.. RedShift has indeed helped us greatly.. he'll be remembered by us down the line as with anyone who helps out RS

since beta3, not much. tweaked a bit of stuff, mainly some interface texture problems

The new rifle is great. Powerful and accuracte.

Are you guys going to model the holes in the barrel? It would really increase the detail.

It may not be the most user (runner) friendly gun around (crouchers will love it... why the ♥♥♥♥♥ is crouchers not a word accepted in the dictionary of FireFox?)

I think we should make our own dictionary, and that dictionary will be better than FireFox 2.0's dictionary....

That dictionary will have the word... "skrithy."

definately a forward observers tool, and not just an ordinary rifle, the range finding would be great for aiding with artillery strikes(come to think of it i should go out and get a credit card so i can sponsor a field mortar) or as a the spotters weapon of choice(if you bother with having a sniper and a spotter)

Love the new weapon, I've found it to be much more useful than the current assault rifle. It's quite accurate, MUCH more lethal in headshots (something I aim for), it even has a scope with all firing functions available).

I have 2 small problems. One certain, and one uncertain. Mid-battle, or when the time calls, there are times where I have to whip my eye away from the scope to switch to a different gun or translocator. Yet, sometimes, when I come back to the gun, I get immediately vaulted into the zoom. I can't replicate it yet [I haven't tried], but it's happened at least 3 times.

Secondly, it'd make more sense to take the silencer of the weapon when it's available to pick up [ie: off the floor]. The silencer isn't standard when first picked up, which I prefer more than with the silencer on.

2nd and a half: Does the silencer's effects on this gun similar to the effects on the XM2 [less damage, and etc]?

Either way, AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME addition. I've been waiting for a new assault rifle. Now we just need a new projectile explosive, and we'll have 2 of every weapon.

I'd prefer if the silencer had at least slightly reduced damage so you couldn't just put it on and play a stealth dude without drawbacks.

Well, I guess you guys had what you wanted all along.

Well from what i hear silencers actualy make the gun somewhat less accurate, and it also decreases the veocity of the bullet so you dont get the full force of the powder in the shell.

This is one of my favorite guns but im not to fond of the scope, not that its bad i like it but i prefer iron sights.

the gun looks very framiliar to me. im think the m14, wich is a good gun, and the american marine corp has actualy brought it back to service, they have racked up an impressive kill count with that rifle in Afagahnistan.

The SRS scope should be detachable i think, just a thought

the ironsights on the rifle do look nice, a unscoped version would be very interesting to see, but i really dont want to see the current one change its perfect as is

Ah good old Browning automatic rifle, always geting ignored for the less effective Thompson SMG.

Most likely because the BAR was way heavy.

Like the minigun way more efficient then the M50, but needs a very big guy behind it.

..m50 is good for small spaces(urban combat)...minigun is really only good in big open spaces and when mounted on something(field combat)

on topic i still cant put down the SRS Rifle...its just too addictive

SRS: the red filter is lost on me it's cool, but i think nightvision would be cooler.
the clip dose not fit my stile vary well I seem to be out of ammo all the time, well the same hapens with the M50. so no woreys.

the "mobs" used BARs with deadlyer results then they did thompsons, yet the image of them is attached to the thompson

cause All Capon used the thompson.

the Browning Automatuc rifle was heavy, about 20 pounds loaded, very effective, bonni and Clyde preffered it to the thompson, nice gun I want one, expensive.
