I think I found a bug, but a minor one.

Try to use the 'Booster' adrenaline combo. When it has regenerated armor, you will hear the default shield hit sound instead of the Ballistic armor one, when you get hit by an enemy.

This happens because the file that your clients (users) are using has the same filename as the one you've modified.

Either:
(1) rename your file every time you make a change, like HellbenderModv1, HellbenderModv2, etc.

He has a point guys, the won't be an online community if everyone gets this mismatch error.
What about naming the files like Ballistic170b.ucl, for example?

And by the way, thetech, you can run vCTF and then use Ballistic Weapons as a mutator.

Friday night I will host a server using 1.7 beta. I usualy start around 11:00 p.m.After you start your game open the server browser. If you click on the name header, the servers will be sorted alphabeticaly. Look for "Ballistic 1.7 Beta". If you don't have the beta version, don't try to join. You will never get the download. It will be Deathmatch with Ballistic. I'm in upstate New York, so, expect decent pings in the northeast and not so good on the west coast.

I see an weapon replacement page in the config menu, maybe it does what you want. You'll see when the final version of 1.7 is released.

about the worm bug.. the Ballistic mutator gives you the extra ammo, not the weapon.. so worm wont give you the extra starting ammo:(

shield hit sound only happen with the adrenalin coz it gives you the stock armor, not Ballistic armor.. i'll see wot we can do about it tho..

Another thing I want to mention, maybe it isn't a bug but rather an annoyance. When I lock on a target with the G5 and shoot, it is like the rocket dissapears, and few seconds later all of a sudden I hear/see an explosion, usually not on the target.

Man, that sucks... Not hugely, but... See, I always use the pistol as an AR replacement, but I also like to mix in one or two non-BW guns like YARM's excellent Robar (a no-nonsense sniper rifle with a really powerful, satisfying firing sound and melee smack attack) and Arkon Weapon's Combat Mortar (powerful electromagnetic explosion with "aftershocks").

It can be done but it is up to the developers if they want to support your feature request.

I ran 1.7 Beta on a server Friday night. No one from this group joined, but, one of my regular gaming buddies did. There were a few bugs.

I couldm't get the supr weapons ( Redeemer,Ion, etc.) in the game. I had the box checked to keep them, but, no luck.

Scoped weapons were a little slow to react for turning the scope on and off. I've noticed this in single player too.

At times, we couldn't place a mine on the ground. Sometimes it worked after you placed one on a wall. Very weird.

I had one server crash. Never had that happen before. It happened during the transition between the maps Depot and Guardian. Might have been coincidence. I suppose it could have been an internet traffic thing.

RPG rockets seem to have a slower flight than they used too.

Assault Rifle grenade reload seems slower and delays primary fire.

Sometime there were jiggling images of the explosive device laying on the ground. Couldn't pick them up. They didn't go off. They just jiggled like Jello.

Many of these things happen in single player too. When playing on a server with voice chat, you can dicuss things and point out problems to each other. Weapon preferences make different peolpe test different ways. Hope this helps make the mod better.

I have noticed the scope problem offline, you can't turn them on/off until the fire sequence is over, which is way too long. I often get killed while trying to get out of scope mode quickly enough.

u have to be close to the ground to place a mine.. and looking at the spot squarly..

RPG acceleration has been changed, so its easier to dodge close-up.. its get faster than it used to at distance tho

AR grenade reload.. yes changed as well.. maybe we can tweak.. is it really serious?

and those FP9 things.. that jiggly thing is wierd!

I know this, but, the mines simply would not place until one was placed on a verticle suface first. After that, they could be placed on the ground as usual.
