A82 skrith plasma shottie

Primary- fires shottie

Alt- uses 4 blades around the 4 barrels, (creds to yokel) to slash and stab, which looks like a kriss blade but has unique markings and is kinda plasma-y looking

Special- activates the "revolving" process, which in conjunction with alt-fire, it becomes a drill

Ammo- 12 in clip, 12 on pickup, 2 clips for collection, 120 overall.

Story- while most shotguns are lead mixed together, this skrith shot gun based off of a MRT6 which looks like A MRT6, except it has blueish- greenish color, four barrels, and skrith blade in the center of the four barrels, the skrith needed a anti-armor, organ tenderizing, and powerful shotgun that can take most armor systems, so with Cyron and Skrith working furiously to get this done, it took them 40 days and 40 nights, then it was done. The A82 has a 12 clip of plasma array radioactive beams (PARB) and was to take out most armor systems, it's weakness are having to cock each shot before firing again, and the gun had to be in close range in order to get a good, clean hit. the first mark had 4 red A73 projectiles before cocking, but it was scrapped due to countless arguments of having to hit them at all. Overall it's is a good weapon, but needs to be worked again sometime.

Xan is halved and cauterized in one shot.


Alt-

SX stabbed Xan in the Gut

SX Tore Xan's head off, now with spine!


Special-

Xan's Gut is now a gaping hole, due to drilling.

well think of the shottie we have now, except is has 4 barrels and a blade in the center of the barrel. and a palette swap of blue and greenish.

for damage, i absolutely have no idea...

Which shotgun?

So we just paint that blue, add a bayonet and make it fire A73 projectiles rather than bullets yes?

MRT6, alt- well it's alt fire RED A73 projectiles that are stronger, but slower then the A73 and has 4 projectiles instead of 1 at a rate of automatic.

Primary- is just a plasma scattershot that tear up vital organs and tears armor apart. just so the skrith can get through to tear skin apart with their krao claws (creds to yokel) or just blast them away.

and the bayonet, skrith love melee so they added a bayonet in the center of the four barrels for stabbing and slashing.

it should explain everything, maybe.

So in other words; primary fire is identical to one of the many shotguns, and the alt. fire is like the skrith rifle with 3 extra barrels and manual fire?

I think we need more detail. You make it sound like M290 had sex with the skrith rifle and it gave birth to this thing.

well the skrith need up and close weaponry, but need to get their claws or talons on the terrans, this shotgun can do that, penetrating armor, and allowing to get up close and slash away at their victim, or just take them out with both fires, and the bayonet, it is put on the center of the barrel for stabbing and slashing the terrans to micropieces, and it looks like the MRT6 shotgun but has 4 barrels, a palettes swap of blue and green, and has a shorter clip than the MRT6.

The most important thing is that it looks nothing like the typical shotguns, it needs to be skrith-tech. But I like the idea, I just don't see the alt. fire as being useful at all.

Now I'm starting to like it, maybe it should have a bigger clip size but otherwise I like the basic descriptions. If you find the time you should write some details about the background history and try to describe how it looks like.

Excellent, this is starting to shape up nicely.

By firing a set of plasma projectiles it is more towards a flak cannon than any other shotgun. RS does not have anything like a flak cannon so this is now set apart from the rest of the shotties, that is good.

I had a thought about the alt fire:

What if there was one blade attached to each barrel and the barrels revolve (if they dont already). Then it can be a bit like a drill.

The slashing and stabbing can be left to the melee weapons while this thing digs in and hollows out your victims instead. What do you reckon?

Aren't the Krao are a bunch of mindless non-setient insect beings, so i doubt they could help the skrith build one of these things.

Yeah, Krao aren't much of engineers. Cryon on the other hand, are rather high tech.

the krao made the bayonet out of their claws (minus the poison) so yeah that's why they are in the background

I'm extremely sure that the Krao claw is in fact their own claws that they are born with.

Anyway, Kriss was a Necris Blademaiden from UT99, Im not sure how she got involved in this discussion but i bet her blades are really good. The Krao Claw on the other hand is a biological weapon and cannot be attached to a mechanical firearm unless the weapon is carefully designed for it.

wrong again I had the Cryon Venom Needler idea. It's a whole Cryon arm...

Anyways a plasma shotgun would be really cool, because all skrith weapons have slow projectiles, so would this one
Makes it like flac cannon... without the bouncing... Lol how about making the plasma coming out of the shottie explode with a very small radius upon impact with walls and such.
