Sadly we have had to issue a ban on a member on this site.

The people on these forums are generaly very well behaved, and the only other problem we have ever had was with a user spamming the forums.

This user (who shall at this stage remain nameless), has been warned a few times before already.

To the banned user: If you are reading this...We WILL NOT TOLERATE such behaviour on these forums !

The person involved, sent a large number of extremely rude and threating PM's to one of our moderators. This kind of action will not be tolerated. We have a large number of youngsters on these forums, and that kind of language and behaviour is simply not acceptable.

Thankfully the member in question was stopped before s/he did any major damage on the public forums.

If anyone else gets a threatening or harassing PM, tell us, the Mods and Admin, about it.

To give my view on that: You as loyal members have the right to have a good time on the forums. If someone sends you private messages solely meant for harassment, flaming or other offensive behavior, by all means let us know about it. We will check out the message and take action.

Well i'll let anyone of you know if that happens.

I didn't get anything but I am curious as to who it was..but its not my right to ask so good work guys at catching it before more people had been inflicted.

Unfortunetly the person in question has given trouble in the past and was responsible for one beta leak and another attempted in the past as well.

The site will be better off without him.

I'm sure his name will come out at some stage, and I'm fairly sure he will rant and rave about us on some other site, but for now, we will just forget the matter and get on with our lives

As an educated guess, I THINK it was Darkonxy. His behaviour certainly fits the bill. Now, i'm not sure if this post will get moderated for some strange reason, but knowing the mods it isn't too likely, and this is just my opinion.

Dark, makes sense, he was quite mouthy sometimes. Gotta say if anyone was to be banned, Dark would come to mind first. I think he was banned from the BU forums.

Now that you mention dark he'd have to be my guess as well. ONLY a GUESS so if he see's this he will know I'm only speculating Is this the first member banned off the RS forums? I haven't seen anyone else in the time ive been here.

There was one guy we banned on the spot simply because of his username, and he made one post that was also deleted for similar reason.

Basically a spammer with that sole purpose.

I remember that guy, now he was an arse, didn't it take like 3 posts (threads really) til you banned him? Or am i thinking of a different guy.

Cyberax took care of him. He called himself 'General f**k my ass' iirc.

Don't remember him. oh well, was that the guy who just posted some random weapon idea of a gun that shoots babies or hippos or whatever the f*ck he was on?
