Ok, the poll on the frontpage...someone has posted under "Other".

Does anyone know what the "other" was? maybe the person could please put me out of my misery and tell me...I'm dying to know


Otherwise, I'm glad to see we have so many Mac people around here...a bit disappointed by the number of Linux users.

I could have put other since i do have a Desktop based WIndows XP and a Macbook (ZOMFG).

Other is the option when the other options don't fit.
I have no idea what other OSs are out there, so I can't answer Cyberax's question unfortunately.

isn't ubanto another OS or is that a earlier form of Linux?

Ubuntu is a Linux variation.

The 'Other' option also refers to older Windows OSs like 98SE, 95, etc.

Loved that OS as a kid. I couldn't get enough of Jetpack, Monster Bash, Skyroads, etc.

first computer I used was in primary school. It had an acorn OS and a drawing program. All I remember was the placement of the drives at the bottom of the screen and on of them had a tracker ball

I played that game like, every day.

first PC i used was an Amstrad real old block that one..

as for "Other".. maybe he made his own or uses DOS, 3.1, or was just confused, or mis-clicked..

Yup, an awesome game. I still play it from time to time, still got the levels I made over a decade ago.
