Though on the topic of MSUC, I think the lightning gun and shotgun annihilate the competition.

So it'd be amazing against the Liandri bots and horrible against everything else... aka it would require skill against anything non-robot (cause the magnets would just home in on those metallic robots).

The arrow tips aren't magnetic, the shaft is.

Edit- Into more context here, Instead of using traditional string, it uses two magnets to hold the shaft in place.
the tip itself is not magnetic, instead it is a High Plasma Explosive that takes out the person in two hits.

Nah, that's not it. That guy made a separate MSUC version with a wounded bunny instead of the Jazz, and submitted it before the deadline. That page simply hasn't been updated in a while, either that or they messed up bigtime.

i had alot of 'fun' when trying to submit the LG.. It took a bunch of e-mails with Epic PR to get it in and put us at ease

The rodents have arrived, along with a bunch of other characters. It will be a brutal fight. The competition in the weaps category looks pretty weak, though.

Whats so great about the Rodents btw, they seem kinda 'cartoony' to me... No idea about the other characters though... hopefully Epic can see the technical work we put into the character as well The stuff the players don't even think about or notice..

Everything. They look great, have their own crazy voice packs, gibs, FP hands, and custom physics, and there are 7 of them plus dozens of possible hybrids. It's just a very slick, polished package.



I'm pretty sure that's intentional.

It was. If I'm not mistaken one of them is supposed to be a version of Jazz jackrabbit, obviously much scarier than the 1998 version in the JJ games.

I don't like cartoony style very much, but it does seem like the author put effort into polishing the package..

Really? Cartoony style is awesome imo.

And it can also go horribly wrong.

Just like the realism style.

i much prefer realism style... no thats wrong, I prefer stuff that fits in with the origional theme.
