A site full of vehicles for Unreal Tournament 2004? I would like a Dark Walker for ut2004

I agree partially, UP. I do think it is best to just play the game that includes the stuff you want. But each game has its own feature set and mechanics. UT2, for example, has an obvious advantage over UT3 (for now at least); BW.

If it wasn't for the Thor or the shotgun, I wouldn't even be considering buying UT3. RS' stuff is that good quality.

I'm with Bjossi on this one, UT1's advantage was I either think Apocalypse Weapons or Agent X. UT2 has BW, UT3 has no true advantage, Yet. Right Now the Thor and Pitbull will make a small dent, but not enough to impact gameplay.

I'm Also with UP on this topic though, Just get UT3 for your darkwalker needs. I believe there is No Darkwalker for UT2.

the downside for UT3 also is because if it's high requirements. actually, i think Ut2004 here is more beautiful than Ut3.

On MY computer? I have download the demo. Graphic is terrible or its just limited. And its just a though.

Considering how the poll on the front page looks, my guess is that they are up to something big.

The Half Life 2 Vehicle mod comes with a pretty cool Strider in it. The Strider is just like the Darkwalker. You can even spawn an NPC version of it that shoots at the players.

UT99's Apoc Wep and Agent X aren't too good.
compared to Psi Weapon Dreams(vr 1.02) and Killing Grounds(the UT99 version of Killing Floor).

This one is different because its white and its bigger. Do i need to mention that on "strider" (not this one) when you move to shoot different player the legs don't have animation to move while standing.

No, I want to make it as obvious as possible that RS should make BW for UT3.

I still think they shouldn't,if they do they will be confining themselves to the unreal universe.I'd much rather see them get more involved in Archon,you know,their dream.

How is making a mod for one more UT game attaching oneself to an entire universe? There is more than enough time for pursuing dreams.

May be,it could also be because I can barely run the damn thing.

And lets face reality here, Runestorm will never release a stand-alone game when the team only includes 4 members. It is taking a team of 50+ members 3 - 5 years to release a game of decent quality. At one point they will have to add some talents to speed things up.

One man,makes a awesome game,by himself(with music help from his brother I believe,but everything else is by the great Toady).

I suggest you try it some time.Takes a bit of time to wrap yourself around the interface,but it is a awesome simulator.

Games tend to vary in scope and size you know. Just imagine how long it would take one person to make a game like UT2004 or STALKER. Even if RS have an access to an engine, there is just too much work involved with content design and such. They would eventually get the thing done, but it would make DNF's timeline seem short.

They are either going to downscale the project or hire more people to work on it, it is as simple as that.

Agent X Weapons is a Pre-BW, It has reloading weapons.

Dwarf fortrees may not be 3D,but the shear amount of detail the simulator looks after is enough to make spore cry.(or should)

You would be surprised how much less work is involved when an entire dimension is not present.

True,well there is a limited amount of 3D in DF,projectiles can go up and down,but never the less.

still this thing has quite a lot of processes,many computers start to go to 1-2 fps after enough entities hit the scene.(about only 100-150)I can run more then that many godlike bots in classic UT with a wee stutter here and there.

Hmm... There has been reports of this thing fragmenting itself horrendously.

Though each entity has pathfinding,preferences,THOUGHTS.They react to nearly every other entity around them in multiple ways.
They can be miraculously stupid at times,but others they seem to have a mind of their own,even making decisions for themselves.

And the world changes dynamically as well,If the game wants a dragon to come for a visit to your fortress,It is tracked every zone in it's path.(only movement though,I think )
