Oh god.... I remember that exact error when I was redoing BW for KF in my original solo attempt. I forgot what I did, but I think I might have just made the decal not even be used. It was that annoying to fix...

If there is so many errors BallisticV21 then how did the devs compile it in the first place?

Because their code is always slightly different from what you'd uncompile. No matter the decompiler, it will give some errors in decompilation. It's not hard to mess up a lot. Considering how large the overall .u package is, I'd consider it lucky to get so FEW errors!

So do you have any idea on how to kill those two errors?

BallisticEliminationLoginMenu. UCC sayed that the superclass UT2K4PlayerLoginMenu could not be found

and the one I posted earlier that you said you had problems with.

Your EditPackages doesn't have all the UT packages included (and in the right order!). That's the problem with the superclass being not found.

How do I know which one is missing? And what order are they supposed to be in?

It still doesnt work (I decompiled BallisticV21 and attempting to recompile it back)

I figured I didn't know what I was talking about,it just struck me that BCoreV20 wasn't on the list there.

OMG.... it's NOT BCoreV20. It's BCoreV2.

Anyways.... Try going into that UC file, then holding CTRL while left clicking on the extendingclass...

So... example:

M50AssaultRifle Extends BallisticWeapon

You would hold CTRL and left click on BallisticWeapon. This will open the UC for that file. Chances are, you DO have the file it says isn't there. When you get to that UC, just find what package is now open that it is contained in, then add that to your edit packages list (the .u file's name, not the individual .uc file).

It's not really working. Like you said I opened the UC file M50AssaultRifle and found the lines class M50AssaultRifle Extends BallisticWeapon. I hold down CTRL and left clicked the word BallisticWeapon but nothing came up.

If that is not what I'm supposed to do I also tried to hold down CTRL and left click on the UC file M50AssaultRifle

Add GUI2K4 to your edit packages. BallisticsV21 itself also.

With regard to the errors in IE_BulletConcrete.uc, i copied the missing emitters from IE_MinigunBulletConcrete.uc. Worked.

Where do I copy them and where do I copy them to?

Well I found a way to make it work. I deleted the
SpriteEmitter BallisticV21.IE_BulletConcrete.SpriteEmitter27 and other crap like that. However, there is a cost to it. when you shoot at concrete it no longer emits the sand and concrete particles. It sucks but BallisticV21 did compile

If you want the emitters back, replace all of the defaultproperties of IE_BulletConcrete with the defaultproperties of IE_MinigunBulletConcrete.

Yes it worked!! thanks for your help but the orginal concrete emmiters dont appear anymore.

Is there a way for the original emitters to work but still make it compile?
