I am going to get my PC copy of fallout 3 for christmas hopefully. I've heard its pretty good!

It is really good.

I LOVE the Lincoln Repeater Rifle. .44 magnum rifle FTW! also the scoped .44 magnum and The Terrible shotgun is awesome too.

I got Fallout 3, and honestly, I think it is the best game I've ever played.

The ragdoll physics are okay, but the fact that you can dismember limbs even after the person is dead appeals to me.

I hope this isn't too much of a spoiler, but I love it when you tell Megaton's sheriff about Mister Burke.

He's Charon,the ghoul from Underworld. Easy to find,because he's bigger than the human (But there was no ghoul bigger than a human on underworld nor outside the wastes,except Charon)

Nah,he just equipped him with the BoS Outcast armor. Just like every FO3 player does: "Equip companions with Power Armor"

That second screenshot with the person holding the rifle is just painful to watch. The wrist isn't supposed to bend like that.

Oh, and since we're on the subject, how's you like the ending of Fallout 3 with Fawkes? "Gee, I know I could save your life by doing something, buddy, but I should let you do it instead, even though it means certain death.

This V.A.T.S thing annoys the hell out of me, I rather use hack 'n' slash and shoot 'em up.

V.A.T.S is fun for the slow motion scenes, but fighting real-time has given me better results.

Thanks to my level 7 Perception and my uncanny arm, I can take out Feral Ghouls on Metro levels ABOVE me without even seeing them. With Frag Grenades.

Also, if you guys think the game is too easy, here is a mod to at least spike the difficulty up a little:

I'd like a mod which increased # of enemies, smarter tactics used by AI and more difficult AI, its too easy to blow away enemies, after level 15, i never died cept when i shot a mini nuke at my feet for no reason.

At level 5 I wiped out the population with 3-4 endurence+ some drugs and nothing but my spiked knuckles... Naturally that included buffout.

Also naturally I did this in a 'alternate universe'.(didn't save that!)

Ya, at one point i got super crazy and just took out my Chinese assault rifle and killed everyone in Megaton.

I loook forward to playing F3 again a harder setting and doing it the 'evil' way.

Play on very hard, and enable Increased Increased Spawns from the mod I supplied the link to. If your computer doesn't die first, I'm pretty sure that'll be much more of a challenge.

Oh shit, the Rock-It launcher is made of 200% awesomeness. RuneStorm should recreate this weapon for JunkWars and also make a shotgun of it.

sounds fun though! However. I like the dart gun because you can effectively reduce any of the more powerful muties to wimpering animals chasing after you at about 1mph in less than a second

just place mines in their way and kaboom. Reduces the bears and deathclaws to minor annoyances

well... minor fun

Depends on who plays and how he plays

I'm neither interested in brainless grinding. Also, I say that WoW is probably one of the worst MMORPG's out there, just for the record, so that people won't mess up their view on MMORPG's

Anyhow, I played some MMORPG's, and I usually end up breaking the record for mass murdering. When I go ingame, it's a matter of time before I turn the entire realm into a holocaust.

I must admit, my view of MMORPGs is tainted due to basically all my friends at college playing WoW, and recounting their amazing stories of... I grinded x levels in x hours/days straight... or our clan did some raiding party...

Gotta admit, if their recounts of what they did on WoW can fall into one of two categories, its not a good game... I'm not particualrly found of most RPGs, as they truly aren't Role Playing gmeas, more like bash enemies to level up so you can bash bigger enemies to level up (there are exceptions, of course).

And the thought of me paying monthly for any game, let alone an RPG whose gameplay is focused solely on getting more levels, simply doesn't work.
