Not me, because deep inside my heart I know that all these attacks are based on bullshit, just like PC ads that attack Macs.

Only idiots that don't have a clue how to use a computer complain about common crashes and viruses. I haven't got a single virus nor a crash in years, that isn't based on luck but on knowledge.

my guess is that you didnt even watch these (maybe because you cant, net reasons). they dont attack PC's about viruses or crashes at all, just simple facts.

Well, I saw a Mac commercial making fun of crashes and viruses. (it was pretty amusing though)

I use a PC, I love all those boxes they come in. By the way how do Mac users deal with the boardom of no crashes, viruses. and few programs There's nothing like the adrenilin rush of opening an infected email

The only other member we know of on this fourm who uses a Mac is Kestrel.

its not PC's which crash.. it friggin Windows!! it's slow, and full of crashes.. and James.. macs dont seem to clean either..

anyway.. i hope i didnt give anyone the illusion that i have an opinion..

Windows, slow and full of crashes? You gave me a good laugh there, I haven't seen a crash in years nor have had to wait more than 20 seconds for it to boot up.

Macs may have less security holes, but as long as you aren't an idiot that opens spam mails and visits questionable porn websites, then you are 99% safe from spyware and viruses.

Notlem's last post (about the boxes pcs come in) reminds me of how fun it is to just take a large box, and ya know, just climb inside, and just sit there. Ya, you all jealous nows cuz of my being inside a box experience greaterness. Actually, the devs prolly beat me there, living in SA and all. Jk.

Ok, back to being serious...I agree with Bjossi's "As long as you don't do this, you are 99% safe from viruses" post. Hell, most viruses I've heard of aren't even that bad, but scare people so bad that they only think their system's done for. Long time ago, I was online, and suddenly..."Your computer has been infected with the 'My Doom' virus!" Now I just freaked out cause I thought it was my fault or something, and it wasn't my computer. That, and I was like 11. Anyhow, my dad's friend actually built this computer, so we called him over. He tells us that the virus is only dangerous to certain internet connections, and that it would just lay dormant in our computer because it is totally harmless to it. And over a year, maybe 2 years ago, a guy I know suddenly messages me saying that the virus tried to get to his computer, but it didn't even come close due to his hi-tech protection and computer.

So I'm always sticking with PCs, my reasoning being that they're more effictient overall anyhow. Not only that, but if you get top of the line virus protection, the whole "Macs more virus proof than PCs" thing become irrelevant.
