Really, I like the hands as they are right now. They might not change with the models, but at least they're not disgusting like U4E's.

SKINS per class might be fairly feasible with code only work, but not different HAND models.. we'll experiment

Well all i have to say to that, is i find the best part of BW is that you can use its many mutators with custom gametypes like Jailbreak and TDM4, which if BW was a TC you could never do, plus all in all i (i'm betting a lot of other people) love the ability to have choice with how the game, thats the best part of the Unreal series, and for me TC's just ruin it cause you have to play with their weapon, on their maps, with their player models, with THEIR mutators! BUt with BW as it is, its perfect, cause you can choose anything you want. And thats why i say BW should stay as a mut.

100% agreement here! TCs severely limit your gameplay options, plain and simple. Usually I just want a quick game on some custom map with custom muts, weapons, and player models -- not some elaborate setup with missions and storylines or whatever. A kind of total UTx makeover with new models and gametypes otoh would be totally cool (as long as it remains compatible with other custom stuff).

But ultimately the point is moot because afaik it has always been RS' intention to make a TC based on the Archon universe, and I'm sure it will be way cooler than the average (lame and shitty) TC. And as long as there's (also) a weapons mut like BW, I'll be quite happy.

PLus i think their not even going to really starting working on a TC (if they do...which i jope they don't) won't be for a long time, amybe not even till a couple months after UT2k7 is realeased.

Yeah, hope it won't be anytime soon, cause once they start work on the TC, BW will probably be neglected a bit. They only have a limited amount of time and energy after all, and TCs are way more difficult than weapons and muts.

That would do little considering that this version mismatch is tough to fix without doing a total reInstall of the game for servers. Plus, people that join download the outdated mod into the cache, so this mismatch spreads like a bacteria.

And thats why i'm always playing offline, to avoid such things.

well i tahts why i have STEAM games for, those are the only games i ever play online besides BF2 and CoD & CoD2, but i've played CSS the most, that has to be the best game ever.

I personally would say Q3A or Q2, the multiplayer in those kicks some major ass. CSS didn't do it for me when I tried, too many dickheads playing.

Well, just about any FPS can be ruined by morons online, and just about any FPS can totally rock at LANs where you can hear the screams of people you ambush, holler orders at each other, and so on.

Probably my best over MP FPS experience was my ten-hour Deus Ex Multiplayer LANs. Haven't done one in 2 years, though. But I'll host another one in a couple weeks, one of my best friends and fellow Deus Ex fan will be getting back from a 2 year stint as a religious missionary.
